The bail was set at a Brooklyn court hearing where the Irish mixed martial arts champion arrived one day after surrendering for his alleged role in a melee inside the Barclays Center. McGregor will keep his passport and travel between Brooklyn and Dublin as the case proceeds under terms of his release. Supreme Court Justice Mallafre Melendez also issued orders of protection to keep McGregor away from five people injured in the attack where punches were thrown and a metal hand truck flung at a bus. “Yes, your honor,” said McGregor when asked if he understood the details of the orders. Conor McGregor's heavy history of controversy, his brazen persona McGregor’s alleged partner-in-crime Cian Cowley was released on a $25,000 bail package on charges of criminal mischief, reckless endangerment and assault.
